Teo's father's childhood club. This self-initiated rebrand for the renowned Pisa S.C., a football club deeply embedded in the city's history, aims to honor its rich heritage while preparing for the future. We wanted to experiment with a new, simple, and direct emblem, refining elements from the old design to create a modern interpretation. Alongside this, a reworked typographic style features an all-uppercase sans-serif font, ensuring it aligns with the bold voices of the supporters. This is complemented by a smaller, refined serif font that highlights the city's history and character, reflecting the club, the city, and its vibrant culture.
Three new kits were designed to work with the club's current sponsor, Adidas, all taking reference from the history embedded in the club and its geography. The home kit retains minimal changes to honor tradition, preserving the club's historical essence. The away kit draws inspiration from the famous marble found in the architecture near the stadium, infusing a touch of local heritage into the design. The third kit propels the club forward with a custom print derived from the shapes of the Tower of Pisa, graded red to reflect the city's flag.
This rebrand respectfully modernizes Pisa S.C.'s visual identity and gear, positioning the club for its next phase while celebrating its storied past. By balancing contemporary design elements with historical references, the rebrand ensures that Pisa S.C. remains a symbol of pride for its supporters and a representative of the city's rich cultural legacy.
